I don't know what "ares code" is. If you mean the country code, the country code for countries in the NANP (the US, Canada, and a bunch of Caribbean islands, including Jamaica) is "1".
However, that shouldn't matter, since you're calling from a country in the NANP to a country in the NANP. You should be able to dial it exactly as you would have had you been in the US (1 + area code + exchange + subscriber number).
You use *67 before the number
That depends on what country you're in, and it may depend on your telephone company and/or your calling plan.
Some Caribbean countries have North American area codes. Others have their own country codes. For example, Jamaica is North American area code +1 876, but Haiti is country code +509. See the related links for details.
You can with every phone, but not texting you can hide your number when calling someone though, by putting 141 before the persons number you are calling.

The phone number of the South Jamaica is: 718-739-4088.
Type "*67" before the number.
If calling from another country always use the number one before actually dialing the number and the area codes are different
To send a fax from Jamaica to the US you would need to dial: 1-876-fax number 1 is to dial long distance to the US, 876 is the area code for Jamaica. It is very similar to dialing to anywhere else in the US or Canada - Jamaica is on the North American Numbering plan. It should be noted that although the number looks like a long distance number, international calling rates (and not domestic long distance rates) will apply.
