'Caribisch Hof van Justitie' is a Dutch equivalent of the 'Caribbean Court of Justice'. The Court is an institutional component of the Caribbean Community [CARICOM] of 15 members, 5 associates and 7 observers. Its establishment dates just from 2001. It plays a role within CARICOM aims for coordinated foreign policies and integrated policies within and along the Caribbean.
'Cour Caribéenne de Justice' is a French equivalent of the 'Caribbean Court of Justice'. The CCJ is part of the institutional framework of the Caribbean Community [CARICOM] of 15 full members, 5 associates and 7 observers. Specifically, it has an important contribution to make in terms of the realization of CARICOM's aims of a Caribbean united and harmonious in societies, political economies and diplomacy.
The Caribbean Court of Justice is comprised of elected judges from various nations who hear appeals from lower courts in the jurisdictions that have elected to participate in the CCJ. The CCJ makes legal rulings and issues opinions on various larger legal matters.
