Dmitri Mendeleev was not the discoverer of technetium.
Technetium was discovered by Emilio Segre and Carlo Perrier in 1936 at the University of Palermo, Sicily, Italy.
He could not have done so because it was discovered 30 years after his death!
Dmitri Mendeleev figured out that there were missing elements on his periodic table. Using periodic trends and averaging numbers, he could make pretty accurate predictions about elements not discovered yet. Mendeleev predicted four: * ekaboron (modern day scandium) * ekaaluminium (modern day gallium) * ekamanganese (modern day technetium) * ekasilicon (modern day germanium)
Dmitri Mendeleev performed his research during the year 1847.
yes!!
The Russian, Dmitri Mendeleev's periodic table became available to the scientific community vi publication in 1869 and he is generally credited with its "creation"
Independently by Dmitri Mendeleev and Lothar Meyer in 1869

Dmitri Mendeleev.
Most chemists attribute the discovery to Dmtri Mendeleev.
Dmitri Mendeleev
It was predicted by Dmitri Mendeleev in 1869, but discovered in 1886 by Clemens Winkler.
In 1869, a total of 63 elements had been discovered by. A few were gases. Two were liquids. Most were solid metals.
Dmitri Mendeleev and Lothar Meyer
Dmitri Mendeleev discovered the Periodic Table from the attempts to systematize properties of the elements. He arranged the elements in to eight groups and twelve rows.
Dmitri Mendeleev is a graduate of the Pedagocical Institute from Petersburg, in 1850.
Dmitri Mendeleev published his periodic table in 1869.
Dmitri Mendeleev was married to Anna, his second wife, in 1882
The development of the periodic table is credited to Dmitri Mendeleev, although a similar organizational pattern had been previously suggested by Julius Lothar Meyer.
