The Taliban destroyed ancient treasures in Bimiyan, Afghanistan. The Taliban insisted that the statues of the Buddha were idols and had to be destroyed. They based their actions on Islamic beliefs that have actually been said in the Christian Bible. It is a Biblical teaching that sculptured images must not be made or else they must be destroyed. Answer 2: I 'm a muslim.however,we are not allowed to make a picture of prophets and God.These are haram.worshipping any idol thing is shirk in Islam.and God said "if i want to,i can forgive all of your sins except shirk" If Allah like he may forgive all sins except for sin. However in Hinduism it is also told that "God is one and he has no picture"but hindu worship idols it is written that god has no pic and idol.

This depends entirely on the Muslim in particular. Muslims pray for everything from peace and prosperity for all on one end and for God to curse and destroy chosen targets on the other end. There are, of course, many Muslims somewhere in between on the spectrum. Muslims also often pray to improve their own spiritual connection to God and to properly recognize God's attributes both in God's being and in their own lives.

Is it a sin for a Muslim to recite the prayer of other religion?

Yes it is because every religion prays in different ways in Islam Muslims pray to gog only, Muslims do not look at images or idols when worshipping God alone in other religions e.g Hinduism, Sikhism, buddist and Christianity whilst praying they look upon idols and images this is forbidden in Islam. also certain religions do not just pray to one god but pray to many god and goddesses again this is forbidden because Muslims only worship the one God and believe muhammed (PBUH) was the last prophet whilst most other abrahamic religions deny him.
