Allan Dove moved his family from Lachine, Quebec where he was superintendent of Dominion Works, a wire and wire products branch of The Steel Company of Canada. Arriving in the fall of 1953 in Hamilton, Ontario he immediately starting working on what became the Ardox Spiral Nail in 1960s. Among other necessary inventions, he created the rotating die, which led also to Rebar (reinforcing steel bar) used to strengthen concrete structures.
Allan Dove, a metallurgist, designed the ardox or spiral nail. The design was patented by his empoyer Stelco in 1954.

A 'threaded' nail is simply a nail with a spiral patterned edge on the protrusion An 'unthreaded' nail is a metal object with a flat head and just a protrusion with no particular 'spiraling' pattern A threaded nail can be 'unscrewed' out and an unthreaded can only be pulled out
the modern day nail polish in the 1920's
I don't know WHO Jesse Weakley was, but he certainly didn't invent the nail gun. THe first pneumatic nailer was invented by Rueben Miller, John Ollig and Marvin Hirsch in or around 1950

Many different size nails have 'ribs' on them. They are to make it harder for the nail to be pulled out.A 'spiral' ( ardox ) nail is even harder to pull out.
In the old days, it was used to show the richer people.
Yes they do because a screw has an inclined spiral wrapping around it, which when "Screwed" into something, has a greater grip than a nail
Are you that dumb?? A screw is a nail-shaped or rod-shaped piece with a spiral groove and a slotted or recessed head designed to be inserted into material by rotating (as with a screwdriver) and used for fastening pieces of solid material together.
