The Buddha, spent the rest of his life teaching the path of awakening he discovered, travelling throughout the northeastern part of the Indian subcontinent, and died at the age of 80 (483 BCE) in Kushinagar, India.

Buddha was born around 2500 years ago. Not too sure what your question refers to exactly so let me give you some more info. He himself said that there were many Buddhas to an eon (which is many millions of years if I remember correctly). There are also supposed to be an incalculable amount of eons. He said that he was the 26th Buddha in the current eon and has been named the 'Mithree' Buddha for his immense compassion ('Mithree' = loving-kindness)
