How many people protest?

At any one moment in time, it is about 50 percent of the US population. It may be in vain. Here are some examples: * Kids protest about homework. * Good parents say, Quit Complaining, and help out. * Complaints and Protests are only micro-revolutions or revolts. * Revolts can be revolting, but so can kids. * Teachers complain about incomplete, poorly executed and incorrect homework. * People complain about taxes, poorly maintained roads, the lack of security, poor schools, Bridges to Nowhere, Waste, Fraud and Abuse, Political Scandals, the high cost of food, fuel, housing, clothing and medical care. * The Bonus March was a revolt. When MacArthur burned their Hooverville and fired on WWI veterans, that was revolting. * Bureaucrats and Politicians complain about the cost to seek re-election, the lack of adequate staffing and the public's support. * The RNC protests the DNC's tactics and abuse of political power. * The DNC protests the RNC's tactics and abuse of political power. * The Boston Tea Party was a protest that led to a revolt and to a Revolutionary War. * Some burn flags in protest. * Some protest flag burnings and would like to burn the flag burners. * Some people revolt about eating broccoli. * Some revolt only about non-organic broccoli. * Some revolt only about eating foreign grown broccoli. * Everyone protests about the high cost of broccoli. (Which very few like to begin with.) * Meatpackers, construction companies, Wallmart, Hilton, Conoco, K-Mart, 7-11, Safeway, McDonalds, Microsoft, Exxon and the hospitality industry reach near panic, protest and revolt about the lack of cheap labor. * Unions reach the point of revolt about cheap imported labor. * Troops revolt against revolting food. * The poor revolt because they can't even get revolting food at the shelter. * Women burned their bra's in revolt and the press loved it. * Women created prohibition, which brought on Capone, gangsterism, mob violence, protest and a return to sanity. * Young people protest more then geriatrics. * Geriatrics know what they...Oh yes, what they...were protesting about. * The NRA will revolt if you deny them the right to own an assault rifle, a howitzer or a shoulder fired anti-aircraft weapon and ballistic missiles. * The TSA will revolt if they are not allowed to confiscate your metal comb or your nail file and clippers. * Brown versus the Board of Education brought on protest and almost revolt. * The Birmingham Bus Boycott was a protest. * Maritn Luther led a protest, revolt and a religeous revolution. * Martin Luther King, Jr., did the same thing, * The March on Washington was a revolt. * The legalization of abortion sparked a revolt, its predecesor was revolting and so was the bombing of clinics and the murder of doctors. * Dr. Jack Kevorkian brought on a near revolution over assisted suicide. * Doctors revolt. * Patients revolt. * Taxpayers revolt. * Revolt is not a sin, but sinning is revolting. * Pastors revolt against sin and sinners. * Parishoners revolt against pastors that keep on sinning. * Politicians revolt against corruption. * Voters will probably revolt against politicians.
