The drain plug for a 2006 Chrysler Sebring is located either in the bottom of the oil pan or in the lower part of the side. Draining warm oil will make a faster and more efficient oil change.
Depending on which engine is in the 2006 Chrysler Sebring has, the engine takes between 4.5 and 5 quarts of oil. Check the oil with the dipstick before adding all of the oil, and add more as needed. Do not overfill.
Check the wiring for the oil sensor. It is located by the oil filter, and could have been pulled loos during the change.
