The Gates website ( they make timing belts etcetera ) shows for the 2.2 liter four cylinder engine in a 1997 Toyota Camry : ( they recommend changing the timing belt at 60,000 miles severe )
The 2.4 liter four cylinder engine in a 2009 Toyota Camry has a timing CHAIN
how much does it cost to replace the timing belt in a 1998 Toyota sienna.
I have a 1997 Toyota Camry. It is leaking anti-frezze. I need to replace the water pump. Do I have to remove and replace timing belts too?
please restate the question
every 100k miles
Change it every 90,000 miles.
toyota recommends that timing belts be replaced at 60,000; however, 100,000 miles is fine. Replace at 100,000 miles as preventative maintenance. 4 cylinder 2002 Camry has a timing chain which does not have to be replaced.
Toyota Camry 1998 has a timing belt.
Toyota recommends every 90K.
The 2.4 liter four cylinder engine in a 2004 Toyota Camry has a timing CHAIN so there is no timing belt to change as a maintenance item
The timing marks on a 1992 Toyota Camry 4sfe are timing belt replacement marks.
It has a timing belt. I was told to replace mine at 90,000 miles, so I did.
