New York uses daylight Saving time starting 2 a.m. on the second Sunday

in March and returns to Standard Time at 2 a.m. on the first Sunday

in November.

This is true for all the United States and Canada (except Saskatchewan in Canada; Puerto Rico, Hawaii and the non-Navaho territory of Arizona in the USA which remain on Standard time year-round.)
