No it will not.... Just remove the fuel pump push rod and install a block off plate where the fuel pump once was. That's it.

The oil pressure switch is located at the back of the engine next to the distributor. Looking at it from the front of truck it will be right of distributor. Normally it can be changed without removing the distributor.

In late 1987 Chevy went to fuel injection fuel system and that requires an electric fuel pump to deliver the correct fuel pressure so the engine will START and RUN. So after 1987 Chevy started putting an ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP inside of the fuel tank on all Vehicles.
Above the left rear tire. It is easier o access by removing the bed. You can remove the bed in 20 minutes by removing only 8 bolts from underneath. Once removed you can access tank, pressure switches and everything from on top.
Top, rear drivers side of engine, below the distributor. Removing the distributor gives you room to R&R the oil pressure sending unit.
If they are stock then there electric.
Under the hood, on top of engine, way in back, next to the distributor. Difficult to gain access to without removing the distributor first.
