You would either have to remove the ceiling in the kitchen or the floor in the bath, and add additional joists to strengthen them, or possibly add steel in combination with the joists.
Cracks can develop for numerous reasons, the most common is ceiling cracks. This is generally because there is movement in the joists which the plasterboard is attached to.
Not and have it stay. Start by sanding the ceiling. make all necessary repairs to cracks, water damage etc. Prime the ceiling with a top quality high hiding primer... if you have water damage be sure to use a non-water based primer, I use Kilz (not kilz 2) with great results. Ten use a Kitchen/bathroom specific paint as your top coat.

I'm assuming you mean vertically (The ceiling appears to moving up). Your house could be heaving or settling. You should check your foundation for cracks. You may have a huge problem.
Without cracks, up to a month (and I keep them in a kitchen 70 degrees about).

One can get rid of pests in the kitchen by making sure any entrance points such as windows or cracks are sealed. One can purchase pest control sprays or hire professionals from Yelp.
I had a total hip replacemnt and my femur was cracked during the operation. What are the odds at this happening?
A leaky pipeline creates water above the ceiling. This water will get absorbed by the ceiling materials, making the roof, damp and moldy. The leaks weaken the ceiling walls and can create cracks in the walls and also, the water can spread to the other walls, if the leaks are not fixed in time. The water can also create ugly stains on the walls. Hence, it is important that leaks are fixed fast before they cause huge damage to the house.
Stalactites are found on the ceiling of caves and are made by the dripping of water enriched with calcium, from the cracks in the ceiling. when the calcium precipitates from the water it leaves calcium and the water drops down to start the formation of stalagmites that are created in the same process but are created by the water dripping off of stalactites. :) hope this helped
Sounds like you've got a leak
No those are stalagmites. stalactites grow from calcite (or mineral) deposits from water dripping from cracks from the ceiling. :) hope this helped
