When plugged up computer mother board lights up but does not turn on what happen?

If they're the lights directly on the motherboard then use the KISS(Keep It Simple Silly) rule, it's most likely that the power button is not connected. On the motherboard there should be a series of wires connecting into the bottom right hand corner assuming that it's an ATX machine. If the power light on the front of the actual computer comes on but doesn't power up it could be a power supply issue that's causing it not to put out 12Vs to power the system. It could also be other problems, Do the fans, and keyboard lights come on, and does the Hard Drive light flash(the one that blinks during loading)?, then it's most likely video. It would help if you described your problem in more detail.

check to see if it is plugged in. If it is does the fans and lights come on but wont load up? if so it most likely is the processor or mother board. If the lights and fan doesn't come on then it is the power supply that it bad.
