On my 2000 I did it last year with a pair of vice grips and small brass home made mallet to pull apart and then tap back together the male to the female. NO LEAKS AFTERWARDS...was gonna cut it like the autozone dumbazz said and put one of those little clamps but just be careful pulling apart & they will snap back tight. On my 1997 model I had the same thing. The only tool required is your fingers!! Move xmission hose FWD or AFT with one hand and pinch the Q/D device with your fingers.

Cooling lines from transmission to radiator?
if you are asking about the cooling lines for the transmission that connect to the radiator, its easy. first disconnect the lines from the radiator (2 lines, usually on the bottom opposite the radiator outlet) then disconnect the lines from the transmission. remove the brackets holding them on, then remove.
It is built into the radiator.
i had the same problem when replacing my radiator local junkyard or you can try your local part store other wise the dealership can get anything
theres a piece of plasitic, i would say midway down the line, pinch the two tabs together and simply slide it off.
the problem you arehaving isn't with the transmission its with your radiator it has a crack in the side where transmission lines hook to you need a new radiator and id also do a complete transmission flush to explain whats it is your coolant is mixing with the transmission fluid in the radiator replace your radiator and you problems are gone after you flush the transmission that is id do that before i put the new radiator in if i was you
1. Drain the cooling system. 2. Remove the engine undercover (skid plate). 3. Disconnect the reservoir hose and remove the reservoir tank. 4. Disconnect the upper and lower radiator hose. 5. Remove the fan shroud. 6. Disconnect the oil cooler lines (automatic transmission). Plug the lines immidiately to prevent oil loss. 7. Remove the nuts and bolts holding the radiator. 8. Carefully remove the radiator..... Note: Installation in reverse.
there are four hoses hooked up to the radiator (two for transmission fluid and two for the antifreeze upper and lower). disconnect all of them. two nuts holding the top bracket in for the radiator take them off and disconnect the radiator fans. then just pull out the radiator.
YES. ITS IN A HOUSING ON THE HEAD, IN THE STREAM OF THE THE FLUID THE RADIATOR COOLS. THE EASIEST WAY TO FIND IT IS TO FOLLOW THE UPPERMOST HOSE FROM THE RADIATOR TO THE TOP OF THE ENGINE
Remove fan shroud Drain radiator Disconnect upper and lower hoses Disconnect transmission lines if Auto Remove securing bolt at top and side Radiator should lift from lower supports
