Timing belt life depends on three things, load, time and temperature. If you operate the venicle in an aera where the average temperature year round does not get over 80 degrees and you are not always using the AC, you might be safe with changing at 80,000 to 100,000 miles. If the temperature gets into 80 to 100 degrees this means that you are using AC, you might wnt to change the belt anytime after 80,000 miles. If the temperature is usually Iver 100 degrees, and you are doing a lot of driving, a new belt at 40,000 or 50,000 miles would be a good idea.
A good question to post, would be: would a timing belt failure result in a damaged engine?

The 2006 Honda Odessey has a timing belt not a time change and it is critical that you change the belt around 115,000 miles.
The Odyssey's owner's manual does not specify a particular mileage. However, depending on the severity of your driving, the timing belt can be replaced as early as 60,000 miles to around 100,000 miles.
2007 Honda Odyssey has a timing belt and the recommended replacement schedule is every 60,000 miles.
Your 2003 Honda Odyssey has a timing belt. (3.5L V6). It should be replaced every 166,000km, along with the water pump and cooling system flush. Due to the complexity of the V-TEC system and the importance of the timing belt, only a Honda Dealership should perform this service.
the miles are 81000 of Honda odeysse 2004, When should change of timing belt?
Timing Belt
Timing belts last about 70,000 miles. You should change the water pump while you're in there; Honda likes to drive them off the timing belt, they wear out about as fast as the timing belt does, and since you're in there anyway...
