Every 60,000 miles you do not want to put this off, i learned the hard way, i bought my car and was not told it needed a new timing belt , it blew when driving on freeway. I was lucky enough that it did not bend valves but my car is a 4 cyl,, v6 are guaranteed to bend. Regardless shop will charge nearly 1500 bucks, that is the quote i was given. I had a family member help me n it cost $60 in belts (i replaced all the belts), 5 hours of work, and $20 in Pizza... So do not put it off for too long. Good Luck
