As the water pump is driven by the same belt, I recommend you replace the water pump at the same time. This will save you labor costs down the road when the pump fails, which it will. WARNING! This is an interference engine. If the belt breaks, severe engine damage will occur. Do not under any circumstances neglect replacing the belt.
