When talking to my children why does my ex husband refer to me by my first name instead of MOM?

* Often couples that have separated or divorced at least one of the partners is bitter and your ex may be doing this to make a quick point to you that he is displeased. When your children are not around tell your ex husband you do not like him referring to you by your first name when talking to the children and that you are their mother and that's what they he should refer to you as! If he can't give you that respect then tell him he's not welcome in your home.
