Well you can get this message for a number of reasons. One reason could be that the iris that reads the DVD could be dirty and needs to be cleaned. You can do this easily by buying a cleaning kit. Then there is a rare exeption whitch is that you have a DVD that is formatted diffrently than what your DVD player can read. And the only way to fix this is to buy a new DVD player.

I sent it to myself, also, and the exact message was, "this message cannot be displayed because of the way it is formatted. Ask the sender to send it again using a different format or email program." Put all the recipients in the "BCC" field. That way, nobody will see who else is getting the message. You can also add arbitrary text to the "to" field, which doesn't have to be a properly-formatted email address. For example, "WikiAnswers Members".
