It should never run out. You have a leak somewhere. Start with the hoses.

Where do you put steering fluid in 2008 Nissan Rogue?

Nissan Rogue 2008 does not use power steering fluid so you will not find a reservoir for that. Rogue's power steering is operated my electric motors.

Will power steering stop leak harm the transmission?

No. The power steering is in no way associated with the transmission. If it runs low, your steering will get stiffer and you might ruin your power steering pump (making steering very stiff.) It will harm the trans if you add it to the trans fluid.

Why does power steering fluid mix in radiator?

Power steering fluid, because of the friction, requires cooling. Sometimes this is done by putting cooling fins on part of the pipe that the fluid runs thru. Other times there is a small loop with cooling fins like a mini radiator next to the power steering pump. And finally the design may actually bring the power steering fluid through a loop that is actually inside the radiator to allow the coolant to cool it. The coolant and power steering fluid never mix, just exchange heat. More typically, it is actually the automatic transmission fluid lines that run to the radiator for cooling.

I am having a hard time turning the wheel of my 1990 Toyota Camry and was wondering if this problem has anything to do with the power steering if so how do i replace or add more power steering fluid?

The first thing you do is have a look if you have run out of power steering fluid. look into the top of the power steering fluid container and if you can not see any top it up to the point indicated on the container. run the engine move the steering around a little and see if you need topping up again. Some vehicles have a separate power steering belt that runs the power steering pump check if it is not broken or loose. otherwise have a word with your mechanic.

You poured power steering fluid in the reservoir and start your car however you see it smoke heavily through the tailpipe until the fluid runs out is a 4A corolla engine?

If you poured power steering fluid into the engine oil reservoir, then you need to have an oil and filter change immediately. Possibly two changes in the next day or two to be certain the contamination is removed. There probably hasn't been any permanent damage done yet, but the longer you wait to remove power steering fluid from the engine oil, the more likely it is that (expensive) damage will occur.Otherwise, pouring steering fluid into your power steering reservoir cannot possibly be related to the smoke and fluid coming out of your exhaust. They are two totally separate systems and cross-contamination is impossible. The problem must lie elsewhere.

Can a low battery effect power steering on a 2007 Chevy Cobalt?

Have a2004 impala when turning the steering wheel to the left or right it makes noise?

Change the fluid in the power steering unit it will most likely fix the problom. The fluid in this p/s pump gets thick because of the tube that runs in front of the motor and heats up the fluid causing it to loose it's viscosity.

Why would a 1992 vw cabriolet be hard to steer?

Have you checked your power steering? If it feels like you're steering a car that's not turned on that might be it. Check the fluid and try again. If the fluid runs out or that doesn't help then you'll need to start replacing parts- good luck

Where does steering lubrication go as steering is making grinding noise?

Power steering fluid is often added and stored directly into the power steering pump. Look for a teardrop-shaped assembly with a filler cap on the top of it somewhere on the driver's side of the vehicle under the hood, near the engine. Then check for evidence of a leak on the underside of that assembly or along the line that runs from it.
