Nissan Rogue 2008 does not use power steering fluid so you will not find a reservoir for that. Rogue's power steering is operated my electric motors.
Will power steering stop leak harm the transmission?
No. The power steering is in no way associated with the transmission. If it runs low, your steering will get stiffer and you might ruin your power steering pump (making steering very stiff.) It will harm the trans if you add it to the trans fluid.
Why does power steering fluid mix in radiator?
Power steering fluid, because of the friction, requires cooling. Sometimes this is done by putting cooling fins on part of the pipe that the fluid runs thru. Other times there is a small loop with cooling fins like a mini radiator next to the power steering pump. And finally the design may actually bring the power steering fluid through a loop that is actually inside the radiator to allow the coolant to cool it. The coolant and power steering fluid never mix, just exchange heat. More typically, it is actually the automatic transmission fluid lines that run to the radiator for cooling.

The first thing you do is have a look if you have run out of power steering fluid. look into the top of the power steering fluid container and if you can not see any top it up to the point indicated on the container. run the engine move the steering around a little and see if you need topping up again. Some vehicles have a separate power steering belt that runs the power steering pump check if it is not broken or loose. otherwise have a word with your mechanic.

Possibly two changes in the next day or two to be certain the contamination is removed. There probably hasn't been any permanent damage done yet, but the longer you wait to remove power steering fluid from the engine oil, the more likely it is that (expensive) damage will occur.Otherwise, pouring steering fluid into your power steering reservoir cannot possibly be related to the smoke and fluid coming out of your exhaust. They are two totally separate systems and cross-contamination is impossible. The problem must lie elsewhere.
