Power Steering fluid is often added and stored directly into the power steering pump. Look for a teardrop-shaped assembly with a filler cap on the top of it somewhere on the driver's side of the vehicle under the hood, near the engine. Then check for evidence of a leak on the underside of that assembly or along the line that runs from it.
engine problems not trans.
Ball join lubrication or change!
if u put wider aftermarket tires on then the tires are rubbing on the fender wheel well if you are refering to in/at the actual steering wheel, then some grinding noise is normal. it's possible the electrical contacts for airbag/cruise/radio controls, whatever you have on the steering wheel are making some grinding noise.
Pop the plastic covers off around the steering. you will see a contact that is making the noise, add some grease to the contact. I think it's for power to the horn.
If its making a horrible grinding noise, it could be the bearing!
Power steering pump/fluid maybe
There's a small leak in a hose that carries the power steering fluid.
the dealership told me that it is due to the steering column needing to be lubricated
it is the powering steering pump and or PS fliud leak
soounds like steering wheel fluid needs to up
New CV joints will fix the grinding noise
The pump will need replaced if it is grinding.
