from my experience with this, it usually means they didnt pay their bill, especially if its a prepaid account
You can switch carriers all you want, of course, but you would need a Verizon phone to use on the Verizon network. If you have an unlocked phone, you would want to call and verify it with customer service. Their number is 1-800-922-0204, by the way.
*228 will allow you to upgrade your software, roaming capabilities, and switch phones.
Apple is not signing a contract with Verizon Wireless. However, Verizon Wireless has signed a contract with Google and now carries two Droid phones. Which does all the things the Iphone does plus some! Check them out!!
No. The only Verizon Wireless phones that use SIM cards are Global Phones. SIM cards are only used for the GSM technology. Verizon Wireless runs off of the CDMA technology. So... if you switch the SIM card, the phone still won't work because it has nothing to do with the CDMA and that's what Verizon Wireless works off of. HOWEVER, you can activate a Verizon Wireless phone on an existing account by dialing *228 pressing SEND then choosing option 3.
the deal was approved by the fcc on oct 4 on oct 16 the plateau deal with verizon has beevn concluded they said the spectrum switch to verizon will be some time in 2013
Verizon Mail can be considered satisfactory to suit one's basic needs. However, there are very few extra features that would entice a customer to switch to Verizon Mail.
Verizon Wireless does not use SIM cards unless it is a world phone. Only carriers that use GSM technology use SIM cards. Verizon Wireless uses CDMA technology. Since the phone uses different wave lengths and different technology, this can not be done.
yes! go to Verizon wireless's website and create your online account, then click "my cell" and activate new phone or something like that
To do an ESN change and switch the phone yourself dial *228 Send option 3 on the new phone, and it will have you verify info and program. The only reason it won't program is if there is a problem... or if there are features that need to be changed to let you go to that phone. in that case, it will transfer you to customer service.
No, AT&T uses GSM, and Verizon uses CDMA. The two technologies are not compatible.
yes, there have to be a wireless switch.
Apple has an agreement with AT&T, so I seriously doubt Apple will ever switch.
