A Reverse Shaft is the shaft which rotates in the opposite direction of the engine driver shaft with the help of meshing of gears mounted on it to the gears mounted on engine driver shaft when reverse gear is applied. No, the brakes have nothing to do with the drive shaft.
speed sensors are mounted to pick up speed info from front rotors, so did you forget to reconnect it up or did you change rotors while you were in there and purchased NON-antilock rotors instead of anti-lock rotors.Remember this rule: if it was working before you worked on it and now it has a problem , it is probably something you did. So,recheck your work you'll probably find it.Good luck.

A shaft is usually longish bit of rotating machinery, made to transfer rotating power. Eccentric means off-center. Either the shaft isn't round, or it's not mounted at the center of wherever it it.
Sounds like you may have warped your rotors by letting the brake pads wear too low and the metal against metal friction has cut grooves and essentially warped the surface of the rotors - new pads and rotors should fix it but if you must take care of that somewhat urgently once you get to that point.
1-3-2-4 Rotors 1&2(which are 180deg apart) are phased 90 deg from rotors 3&4 (which are 180 deg apart). Imagine a pair of 2 rotor eccentric shafts front to back, but the rear shaft is 90 deg offset to the front shaft.
