The thermostat is located at the other end of upper radiator hose.
Follow the lower radiator hose from the radiator to the engine, that's where it is.
The thermostat is inside its housing on the upper radiator hose on the engine block side.
Should be a in a removable housing at the engine end of the upper radiator hose

If yoor 1996 Integra has the1.8L engine, the thermostat is located at the back of the motor at the end of the bottom radiator hose.

Replace your thermostat.
follow your lower radiator hose to where it connects to the engine block remove that hose and there u go thermostat will be inside the thermostat housing right underneath
check to be sure that the thermostat is not backwards and is the correct heat rated unit for the car
