The Church, in approving the canon of Sacred Scripture accepted all 72 books that Our Blessed Lord, Jesus Christ, had used - in other words, the Septuagint - which includes the 72 books - in the late fourth century A.D. 1,100 years LATER, Martin Luther rejected those seven books calling them apocrypha (they're not) and threw them out. The Jews of the first century after Christ had also thrown them out as they supported specifically Christian teachings (as well as Jewish ones - the are the only ones that contain the basis for the feast of Hanukkah.
