Sorry- we can't give you an exact date. MOST of these were actually made by Henri Peiper in Belgium. Twist steel is a type of metal that was intended for BLACK POWDER shotshells (and should NOT be fired with modern smokeless shells). It is likely from the late 1800s. If you remove the barrels, you may find additional markings that you can research to give you a bit more information. The damascus-barrels website is a great place to start.
