It depends on how many you are doing, but generally a smaller pot will boil more quickly and that's all that matters. Just make sure not to keep it boiling as you poach the egg.
poached egg
If you crack an egg that is intending for boiling there is no need to throw it away, boil a pan of water and stir it quite fast once it has reached boiling point until a small whirlpool is visible in the water, crack your egg into the center of the whirlpool and leave for 2 minutes, hey presto a perfect boiled/poached egg.
a egg cooks at aprox 65c so if it is poached in boiling water then it will cook
No. Poaching an egg is basically boiling an egg w/o its shell by carefully cracking the egg and tipping it into hot water.
water man
eggs that are cooked different from other ones - Perhaps you mean "poached eggs," which are cooked in boiling water without the shell. The idea is that the egg-white becomes a pocket for the yolk.
Definitely. Even better than in cooler water.
A poached egg is not flipped over; an over easy egg is flipped over (easy).EDIT: you are speaking about sunny-side up vs. over easy.NOT what a poached egg is. Poaching means, in water. So the difference between a poached and over easy are many. The only thing in common is that you are cooking an egg.
180 degrees is the temperature of water for poached eggs.
Squid that has been cooked in water.
boiling water
Cold water will not disinfect. Water must be boiling for it to be able to disinfect anything. It is not recommended to pour boiling water on the skin, though. If you're looking to disinfect a wound, try alcohol.
