When you download content into your Xbox 360 hardrive would it work in a different Xbox?

If you download windows vista will it keep your files on the computer?
if you download it onto your hardrive you folders will be fine but if you download it and reformat the system all you files will be lost so i would advise to put all your folders onto a internal hardrive (portal hardrive or a memory stick) i also wouldn't advice downloading vista because i had vista for about a year and it started to randomly i would advise downloading windows 7 or buying it :/

I can insure you that you will not be caught by Microsoft and banned, Microsoft can not track your consol but can track your online account, but it don't matter since you got your Xbox 360 modded into the hardrive not on your online account so therefore Microsoft cant ban you and you are free to download any content online.

Anyone that has a computer or smart phone can download content for you and load it to a disk or jump drive. It would be up to the person to agree to the download and agree to the content of the download.

Yes is possible to do a hard drive recovery from home. If you had your files backed up on an extrenal hardrive it would just be a manner of placing them back on your computer once you reinstall windows. If you did not have your files backed up, it may still be possible to recover the files if you get a usb connector for the hardrive and special hardrive recovery software which is available to download on the internet.

It all depends on what your looking for .The elite is more money while it is a different color and comes with a 120 gb hardrive . While the arcs come with no hardrive and i believe cost around 150 USD dollars at walmart. I would suggest you buy a Xbox 360 slim it comes with 5 usb slots, 250 gb hardrive and a built in wifi receiver. ( so you don't have to buy a wireless receiver. That is if you are using wifi.
