Title TagsTitle tags in HTML determines the name of the site you want the browser to display. Using title tags, it will tell the browser the desired name of the site you want to display on the title bar of the browser. For example, you want to name a site Google. Therefore, you need to type: Google. It will display "Google" on the title bar. The title tags should be inside the tag. Example:Trial WebsiteThis is a sample website
The title tag is used by the browser to display the title of the website, usually in the tab or title bar of the browsing application. Search engines also use this tag when displaying the link on the search results page. This tag is never rendered inside the actual content (the "body") of the HTML document.
It is treated the same way as what the text between title tags is in a HTML document. It will appear in the title bar. It is not the actual name of the file.
The TITLE tag is used to define the title of the page. This value is used inside the title bar of the browser, on tabs, in bookmark files, and by search engines. The TITLE tag is a required child of the HEAD section of the document. In XHTML 1.0 Strict and HTML5, a document cannot pass the W3C validation check without a title tag being present.
==URL and TITLE== The URL is the location of the page. In real life, it's like the room, box or book -for example-. The Title of a page is the name of the page. It's more descriptive, but not as much as the description of the page. It's the text display in the upper part of your browser (the tab name if your browser as tabs). In real life, it's the name of a document.

The header and footer in a document are very important. These notes can give the reader more information about the document they are reading.
The <head> tag in an HTML document is used to hold data that describes the rest of the document. For instance, the title of the document that shows up in search engines and the users browser is placed in the HEAD section. The HEAD also contains things like styles, which describe what the document should look like in the browser, and scripts, which effect the function of the page.
The title tag will do it. It is always in the head area of a document. All pages done to the proper standards, should have a title tag with a name in it, like this:This is my web page
This is done using the <title></title> tag set, which must appear inside a <head></head> tag-set: e.g. <HTML> <head> <title> Here is a title to display at the top of the browser. You can put anything here that explains or otherwise has relevance to your page</title> </head> <body> A bog standard HTML page </body> </HTML>
