When you start your 03 Nissan altima it sometimes stalls rpms go down and car shuts down not all the time every now and then what can cause this problem?

I have similar problems. It could be the crankshaft position sensor or the distributor. Remove the distributor cap and check to see if oil is inside. If so clean it out, wipe off the rotor button. If your pcv Valve of clogged.
