If you do not see coolant circulate (move) after the engine reaches normal operating temperature, either the thermostat is stuck in the closed position or the water pump is not working. In either case, the engine will overheat.

If 1994 Lexus automatic revs but does not move and small pipe from engine to radiator broke and coolant everywhere what could be the problem?

The small pipe which goes to the radiator is most likely carrying the fluid from the auto box to the cooler and if the fluid has all leaked out , there will be no drive .

Where is the transmission fluid on your Volvo v70?

The transmission fluid dip stick is a yellow cap that is located behind the lower radiator hose. Its hard to find but if you move some of the cables and hoses that are close to the transmission case it will be there.

F150 can't get out of park?

My truck did that once or twice. Both times it was because the fuse had blown that powers the brake lights. I did also find out that if you shut the truck off and turn the key on that you can get it into netrual, then you can start the truck and move it.

Does a manual transmission on a Saturn sl1 have to have fluid in it to engage starter?

Your manual transmission does not have to have fluid in it in order to start the engine. Theoretically you can start the engine with the transmission out of the vehicle totally. That being said.... Its not a good idea to start the engine if there is no fluid in the transmission just in case someone tries to move the vehicle by putting it in gear. You do not want to drive the vehicle with no fluid in the trans.

What does the clutch start cancel button do on a 1992 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 and how do you use it?

The clutch start cancel button will eliminate the need to press the clutch in to start the truck. This is useful in mostly offroad situations where pushing in the clutch to start the truck might allow the truck to roll from a precarious position such as off of a rock or back down a hill. You are starting the truck "in gear" so that there is no jerky movements with engaging the clutch. This works best when in the transfer case is in Low. The front hubs should also be locked. To use when on a steep hill or crawling over rocks: * keep your foot on the brake. * press the clutch start cancel button. * turn the key to start the truck. * as the truck begins to move, ease up on the brake to allow the truck to move forward and start. * as the truck starts apply the accelerator pedal as needed to keep you going and prevent stalling. * If you stall it's OK, just keep using the clutch start cancel button until you are out of the situation
