I'd say your starter motor was on its way out, and its now time to get a new one.
Most likely the starter should be replaced. When it heats up, it will turn the engine with a lot of strain. like the battery is low. When it cools down, it will turn freely.
Had ther same problem, ignition switch fixed it.
I had a 1991 Chevy Cavalier and I needed to replace the flasher bulb as well. It took awhile but I found it under the drivers side dash. It's a circular shaped aluminum fuse.
check ur starter the internal metal brushed might be swelling up and stoping it from starting i had that happen on my old ford when oil driped in to the starter and when i would stop after the car was warm it would cut off and wouldn't start until the starter cooled when i replaced it, it never happened again.
"hot start" issue. Could be the solenoid, or starter itself.
the Chevy cavalier does not have a drive axle, it has cv (constant velocity) shafts, which are faitly expensive to have replaced, but the part itself is not terribly expensive, my dads 2003 Mazda protege's shaft was $140 Canadian, just don't go through your dealer they charge way more ($480 in this case) but they take quite awhile to replace so the labor costs are quite high
I have heard the alternator does it,cold drains the battery too,if it's not started for awhile can kill it.
carbeurators are no longer used in newer cars i think they were replaced by fuel injectors but its bin awhile so yea
awhile.
I don't know about a 1995 but I changed the starter on my 1994 with a 3.3 engine and it was extremely easy. It's been awhile but it seems to me that there were only 2 bolts holding it on and they were easy to get at. I just disconnected the power, took out the 2 bolts and the starter came right out. The new starter cost me about $140.00 and I haven't had any trouble since and it's probably been 3-4 years and 40,000 mile ago.
have your oxygen sensor checked or replaced. we had the same issue on ours and replacing the o2 sensor fixed the problem
I have the 93 V6 4x4 and the starter is just below your oil filter. I'd drain the oil and take off the oil filter first. Then the easiest way is to take of your front passenger tire and pull back the protective shield. Believe me this will save you some time and agony unless you're a contortionist or have small hands and arms. After you break the bolts loose, three of them if I remember correctly, and have taken off the starter contacts it should come right out of there. Installation is a breeze as it's just the opposite of removal. I changed mine awhile ago and am looking at changing it again here soon. My advice is to go with a quality or OEM starter. I bought an after market starter and I've been having problems with it working for awhile now.
