It depends on the type of car, but usually it's the keyswitch. Older vehicles sometimes have an ignition resistor that burns out, some have a switch that's part of the starter that can fail.
Time when trying to start the car engine trns butwill not start turn key off then onagain it starts right up
If the Car didn't start with the key turning the ignition then the car was "hotwired" to turn the Car on.If the key did not start the car, how was it started.
IgnitionSwitch
If your wheels aren't straight when you put a newer car like that in park it will lock you have to turn the steering wheel and twitch it around until the key turns and the car starts
Try your spare key? No? replace the lock cyclinder.
you turn the key, key crosses solenoild, solonoil turns starter on the flywheel, which is attached to the crankshaft at the rear of the engine
Cause your car needs a tune up.
If it has a resistor in key perhaps installation of remote changed the resistance value in same Your remote is probably installed wrong .
I 've noticed that sometimes my key for my car does the same thing, I usually turn the steering wheel left to right and so on til my key turns:)
The steering wheel should be locked when the car is in park. Move the steering wheel a bit then see if the key turns.
car starts without key
You turn the key, the car has energy from the petrol that makes the wheels move, this movement turns the tires and then the car moves, slowly at first but then it makes a move by using the petrol. This is CO2.
