They've got a Google maps app that shows the refugee camps. Its very impressive, just visited it for the first time and its shocking actually
refugee camps look like a field of tents that are made from loads of sticks and some material.
No, not necessarily. The definition of refugee is "a person who has been forced to leave their country in order to escape war, persecution or natural disaster". When we think of a refugee we think of people living in camps because they are out of their country and don't have a place to stay. There are very few people, but some live elsewhere, other than camps.
Serbia is on first place in Europe by number of refugees. Some of them still live in camps with no possibility to go back home.

"Temporary homes can be made from tents, cargo containers, ice and snow (igloos), animal skins and sticks (teepees), and the like. Things do become cliche because they're true, and many shanty towns and refugee camps around the world make use of cardboard temporary home construction."
Yes they are real the camps will be set up on 2012 or some where around that time
Yes it was and by some margin. Auschwitz consisted of 3 main functioning camps alongside with around 40 sub camps. These camps were part of how Auschwitz was functioned so well as effectivly getting in prisoners and then either putting them to work or killing them in mass numbers. Some of the camps spanded 3km away from each oteher. The overall coverage was around 40 square kilometers.
there were different classes of camp. different camps were run by different departments. some camps were on different continents.
Israel is ironically the only country in the Levant region that does not have a single Palestinian Refugee Camp in its entire legitimate territory. Palestinians live in Refugee Camps in Egypt, in the Gaza Strip, in the West Bank, in Jordan, in Syria, and Palestinians in Refugee camps make up roughly 10% of the Lebanese population. Living conditions are extremely varied between the camps. The Lebanese Camps have the most dire situations, often erupting in violence between the Lebanese Army and the members of the camps who have no permission to seek freedom, citizenship, or a stable career.Palestinians in Israel live as citizens of the Jewish State. There are currently roughly 1.3 million Palestinian citizens of Israel and several are members of the Israeli Knesset. They live relatively ordinary lives. There is some discrimination against them in the Israeli system, but through the acts of protests, elections, and freedom of expression, they are capable of discussing how they feel about what Israel should do. Typical of Israelis, grab five Palestinian Israelis, and you will have ten opinions of what these improvements would be.
In a refugee camp, people typically sleep in tents, makeshift shelters, or communal buildings provided by relief agencies. The living conditions may vary depending on the resources available and the capacity of the camp. Some camps also provide temporary housing units or containers for families to sleep in.
