I have the Grand Am GT with the 3.4L engine. There are 3 "Right in the Front" and 3 buried so far in the back that you either have to have really really small hands, or I think that they are accessible from underneath and behind the engine through the opening for the drive shaft. Whoever thought this was a good location for spark plugs is more than welcome to stop by and help me change them.
Spark plug wires, spark plug boot, or coil on plug.
Screwed into the head.
Under the engine top cover ( the piece that says Quad 4 or some thing like that)
look on the very top of the motor and you will see a long rail them are the spark injectors for your spark plugs. pull them injectors out and you will see your spark plugs.
The Spark Plug Gap.060 (In thousandths of an inch)
(2.4L) pretty sure it's ontop of the engine I think 4 bolts hold it in place under the coil pack are the spark plugs
they are located under the coil pack
Beneath their coils.
A 1999 Pontiac Grand Am GT full tune-up should include; spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filter, and a fuel filter. Changing the motor oil and filter is also recommended.
Bad Rings. Get your Rings replaced asap.
They are under the coils, next to the fuel injectors.
The gap for the 2.4L is .060in. Other engines will likely be different.
