There are 2 upstream 02 sensors just behind the exhaust manifolds, threaded into the exhaust pipes, one on each side. There are 2 downstream 02 sensors just behind the catalytic converters, one on each side as well.

There are 4 sensors total. All are on the exhast pipes. 2 "upstream" are before the catalytic converter and 2 "downstream" after the catalytic converter.

O2 sensors can be really tough to break loose, I recommend a 3/8" drive ratchet some extensions, a crow's foot, 3/8" swivel and some pentrating oil to spray on.
The shift motor on my 1996 Ford Explorer is located at the end of the transmission, around 1/2 way back on the left side of the under carriage. May be in the same spot for 02 models.
