To find your speaker wires, check your owners manual. You should find a diagram with the location and color of your speaker wires.
you have 4 o2 sensors on the 2002 mountaineer. if you get under the car and look at the exhaust pipe where it goes up either side of the engine you will see it bolted into the exhaust, it has wires coming from it. they are the front 2, the rear 2 are about 2 feet farther to the rear (easier to see)
Go to their website. They should have an owners manual you can download for your specific car. It'll tell you.
They are located in the cylinder heads. Just follow the wires and that will lead you to them
A 2004 Mercury Mountaineer does not have the Coil On Plug ( C.O.P. ) ignition system with ( 8 ) individual coils . It has the Electronic Distributorless Ignition System ( EDIS ) with ( 2 coil packs ) and ( 8 ) spark plug wires
Follow the plug wires and they will go to the distributor cap.

Behind the panel in the cargo area on the drivers side of the vehicle. Should be a box in there with a bunch of wires on it. There's a sticker on the box with a 5 digit code.
On a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer , with the 5.0 liter V8 engine : There are ( 4 ) spark plug wires going to each of the ( 2 coil packs ) ( 4 - 7 ) ( 3 - 5 ) ( 8 - 2 ) ( 6 - 1 ) front of vehicle ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The engine cylinder locations are numbered : firewall 4 - 8 3 - 7 2 - 6 1 - 5 front of Mountaineer ( V8 )
Absolutely, but you may need to rout some wires or tubes differently. The wiring harnesses and the motor mounts are identical. I have done two of these swaps.
It is located under the dash below ashtray. It will be 4 pin plug w/RED,Blue,White,Green wires.
