transmission on 84 -96 corvettes does not have a mount it has a torque arm from rear of trans to front of diff. that supports the load
Yes, the mounting position is the same, but the actual mounts are different. Bolt the mounts from your 1975 corvette to your 1996 LT1 engine and it should go right in. The transmission should also bolt right up to your 1996 LT1 engine.
My 1984 corvette transmission is not shifting into overdrive. It shifts first thru third fine.
The 1997 Ford Taurus has for motor mounts and to transmission mounts. Worn motor mounts and transmission mounts will allow the engine and transmission to have movement.
This is most likely a failure of the 700-R4 automatic transmission, as it was with mine.
Probably not (if you mean a corvette c4 transmission) cause the dodge engine wasnt made to bold on to a Chevy transmission. but you could make it work if you know how to weld using and arc welder and makeing you own mounts for it.
A 350 Chevy motor will fit in a 1984 camero, a 350 turbo automatic transmission. Will have to trade motor mounts and transmission mounts.a 700r4 transmission will also bolt up in place of the origonal transmission. a 2.8 v6 trans wont bolt up to a v8.
yes it will
bypass anti theft system 1984 chevrolet corvette
That doesn't make sense cause that would be the 31st year of the car.(corvette) They came into production in 1953. They did not make a corvette in 1983 so 1984 would be a 30th year. I've never heard of a 1984 anniversary edition tho.
it has 4 mounts , 2 engine mounts, and 2 transmission mount
You can check the transmission fluid level in your 1998 Chevrolet Corvette with the transmission fluid dipstick. The transmission fluid dipstick will have indicating marks as to the level of the transmission fluid.
Transmission mounts are they considered motor mounts? After saying that how many motor mounts do I need to replace, if I change out all of them.
