The flasher is mounted just to the left of the steering column. The turn signal and emergency flashers are built together on this model.
There should be six signal lights on the mystique, two front, to rear, and two sidemarker lights.
I assume you mean the turn signal/hazard flasher. it is actually a relay located in the steering wheel assembly, next to the turn signal wand. Remove the screws on the underside of the steering wheel cover to access the relay.
find it then remove it from its socket and then put anew one in its place.
Replace the bulb- There are 2 filaments in this bulb. The brake and flashers work off the same line and the turn signal works off another. If this isn't it, check your fuse box.
by the steering wheel
there is a silver box behind the tach and speedometer that controls the flashers it is the brain of all electrical

AnswerAccording to my Haynes repair manual, 1995 and later models, theflasher relays for the turn signals and four way flashers are locatedunder the instrument panel to the right of the steering column.
You should have 2 silver cylinders in your fuse panel. About the size of a half dollar. Those are your flashers. You can feel if they are working. Put your turn signal on, and touch them. you will feel something moving inside them if they are working.
