If you are not familiar with the components or are not even sure the proper names for the parts I highly advise that you not attempt to do the installation yourself. As a certified mechanic I have seen many vehicles have dangerous brake downs because unqualified people tried to save money by doing the work at home. Imagine changing leaf springs on a newer Chevy truck in a backyard or home garage. Then one week later while driving down the interstate at seventy miles an hour the rear axle comes disconnected from the car causing you to crash, and a 400 lbs axle goes flying in to oncoming traffic. These scenarios happen. Please do not attempt repairs without the help of qualified persons.
