The Honda Civic EG/EH/EJ lines were produced from 1991-1995. The EG refers specifically to the 3 door hatchback model (EG3) or the 4 door sedan (EG8 or EG9). They may be purchased at used car dealers such as CarMax or through publications such as Auto Trader.
The Civic EG is part of the fifth generation of Honda Civic. The series was first introduced in 1991, and the last of the series was produced in 1995.
No, there is no such thing as a EJ1 civic hatchback. EJ = Civic coupe. Therefore, EG= Civic hatchback.
120 hp
A second gen Rx7 would be much faster.
any year will fit in but you have to modify the mounts of your eg to what ever seat you want. if you want a drop in seat the only one that i know will work is the 94-01 integras.
92 - 95 civic hatchback (JDM) The EG6 is the right hand drive Japanese model off the USDM 92 - 95 dx, si etc.
EG and EK are used to describe the various generations of Honda cars.EG is the fifth generation (1992-1995), while EK is the sixth (1996-2000)For instance, Honda produced the first iteration of Civic to receive the "Type-R" appellation, with the EK9 chassis Civic Type-R, in 1997. http://whatmonstersdo.com
eg is the body code. 5th gen civics (92-95) have the codes: 2dr covert/targa/coupe-ej1/ej2, 3dr hatch-eh2/eh3, 4dr sedan-eg8/eg8. i know there is an eg6 but im not sure exactly what for.
on my eg civic , i had yo take the oem filter off. and the front bumper and also the inner arch,,, should be the same,
two ways to read engine codes. 1. follow the routine detailed in your wksp manual id you have one OR 2. take it to a Honda agent who will have the necessary equipment eg code reader to do the jod, they will also be able to effect a repair at the same time and wipe the error code from the display.
Probably not. Most cars pre: 1998-2001 (depending on make and model) only have one sensor for each impact direction/zone. if your car is equiped only with dual FRONT airbags then you will only have one sensor for both airbags. I have a civic 95 eg sedan myself and the airbag sensor is possibly a magnet activator located close to the ECU. If you would like to confirm this you could go ask your closest authorised Honda service dealership for more information. Cheers, Jim
Yes of course you can put an h-series into an eg civic. It's done every day.
