Furnace blower motors are easily found at HVAC installers and repair centers. However, without proper knowledge, a customer should not try to fix this, it can be dangerous.
find blower motor check for voltage on one of the three pins at blower motor, if so check for good grd. most likely ur blower motor is fualty.
If you are refering to the inducer motor( the one with the little wheel that you see when you take your units doors off) Yes it should keep running when your blower motor is running and before ignition to create your draft and during to rid the gases out your flue Hope I kept it simple

When the blower motor stays on it means there is a short to power, or the relay is sticking. 99.9% of the time the relay sticks. I belive on the 2004 silverados the blower motor relay is internal to the blower motor resistor. Try to find an auxillary blower motor relay and if there isn't one then replace the blower motor resistor.
One can purchase a blower motor resistor either in car part shops, like Autozone. Alternatively, one can try looking in eBay for cheaper blower motor resistors.
The blower motor works on only one speed. The blower motor resitor pack is defective and needs to be replaced. It is located on the blower housing in the engine compartment just below the blower motor.
remove panel under glove box. slide bcm to one side. ( it is much easier if glove box is removed ). remove 3 screws from blower housing. pull the blower motor and fan straight down. disconnect the blower motor electrical connection, if you are replacing blower motor with a new one, use old blower fan from old one.

Turn off power at breaker. Take off doors. Remove screws from board and allow to hang out of the way. Remove screws from squirrel cage assembly and slide whole cage assembly forward out of furnace, Remove plug from blower motor (if there is one, if not it may be necessary to cut wires). With assembly on floor remove blower motor bracket screws, replace motor with OEM only, make sure it is balanced and reverse process.
First, take a socket wrench to remove the cover of the blower motor of a 1993 Chevy truck. Then pull the motor blower out and install a new one in its place. Lastly, screw the bolts of the blower motor cover back in.
There is only one blower motor resistor and it is located in the evaporator housing.
1) Check the blower motor, make sure it is not making any weird noises.2) Check the blower motor resistor, its located next to the motor. It is what controls the lower speeds of the motor. You can try to find one at the junkyard.
