buy the new module. buy a manual for your car. buy needed tools. figure it out and replace it. OR take it to a shop. OR junk the car, cause it's probably not worth replacing that broken module.
You don't replace the lights in the dash board climate control. It is a singular control module. Once the lights in it burn out, that's it. You either replace it for a few hundred bucks or just live with it. A quick and cost effective way to get light in that area is to buy a little 12 volt light that you plug into the cigarette lighter with a flexible neck.

The P0409 code indicates an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) circuit malfunction. It could be a bad EGR valve, a bad EGR optical sensor, a bad powertrain control module (PCM), or a bad electronic control Module (ECM), also referred to as the engine control module.
It does have an Ignition Control Module. It is mounted under the distributer cap by 2 screws and has wires plugged into it. they are $40-$60 dollars to buy from your local AutoZone, Napa, or O'Reily Auto Parts stores. Beware: you must remove airbox and hoses to get to the ICM and it is very difficult to get out after that anyhow.
