Deerfoot carpet & flooring Inc. (Calgary, Alberta) $1.99 psf and up for a glue down 12 inch X 24 inch tile (while supplies last) 403-255-5880
Silicone.
Glue is best.. 40 years at the trade... I like nails & glue
You can, but the makers don't recommend it.
depends on the substrate, what you're installing the flooring on. You can glue it down if on concrete, nail it down if on wood, or even float it if on either.
There is no specific hardwood flooring glue as it's not supposed to be glued down. You could glue it with a good quality wood glue, but most manufacturers warn that this can cause buckling later on. It's generally angle nailed.
You'll want to review an excellent video\article on the diy network; this should be easy enough for a novice to give it a shot. I also provided a link regarding cork flooring; this is basically the same as bamboo, just a different material. However, cork flooring can be installed "without glue".
Tite Bond 2 will work on cork to cork, but not as well as the new Elmer's Spray Contact glue.
No, it wouldn't work as Gorilla Glue swells. It would be better to use vinyl tile glue or spray contact cement
Some manufacturers allow glue down of their click and fold / lock engineered wood floors. Check websites for info.
Yes. Apply pressure against it until the glue sets. For the floor just glue it down.
Silicone will do that.
The new Elmer's Spray Glue is very good for that.
