Westernfield was the company name for guns sold by Montgomery Ward, If you repost with the model number, we MAY be able to find who made it for them. With MOST bolt action rifles- check that it is unloaded. Check it again. Open the bolt, release the safety. Press trigger to the rear and HOLD it while you slide bolt out of rifle.
50-150 USD depending on condition.
I have an 80 G rifle but no clip. I would be willing to sell the rifle without the clip.

My resources indicate that your Western Field M830 was made by Mossberg. The Mossberg model 340K and your rifle are the same model. These were made from 1958-1980.
If your rifle is a bolt action with a tubular magazine, it was likely a Mossberg Model 45A, made for Montgomery Wards under their Westernfield label. That rifle was produced for a brief time- 1937-1938.
This requires the services of a gunsmith.
The Western Field model 31A was made by Mossberg and Sons firearm Company. The Mossberg model 40,or model 44 while be the same as your Western Field bolt action rifle.
. to remove the bolt on this model you must lower the tube assembly, there is a screw under the stock, remove stock first.
