I did this once. You have to remove it through the left wheel well. You will have to lower, if not remove, the CV axle to make a space for it to come out. I managed to replace mine without removing the CV. There is just enough room if u bring in under.. then up in front of the motor (on the right side) Its tight but its do able (had to do it 2 times :)

Pick up a Haynes or Chilton manual for your car. It will have all the photos and instructions you need. It's a pretty basic job.
Some where in the radiator shroud or engine compartment there should be a serpentine belt diagram. Follow diagram or picture. Rotate the drive belt tensioner away from the drive belt and install the drive belt on the alternator pulley. also the pulleys the smooth side of the belt goes on the smooth pulleys the belt side with the teeth go on the pulleys with the teeth
I found one from looking up a picture of the alternator. Try looking for a water pump or powersteering pump replacement picture.
Remove wiring harnesses, unbolt it, remove from engine. Install new alternator, apply tension using bar, bolt it, hookup wiring harnesses.
