a dj5 isn't a Jeep, its a am general, but it uses a 258 mtr made by amc, later ones used a 4cyl by gm. i would just get a chiltons book<library>,that engine uses a carter carb and its not very complex, basically a vac line to the distributor, vent line to the emissions canister, and a larger hose near the base that goes to the pcv valve; and a connection to the EGR if it has one.simple by todays standards.
Go to bikerbandit.com and they have alot of schematics you can use.
Schematic or Circuit Diagram.
Hey Hugo==In the rebuild kit is a schematic of the carb. GoodluckJoe
A schematic diagram will show the connections required for the process concerned, which might be an electrical process or a pipework system. Such a diagram enables you to understand the connections without bothering with the physical layout of the system. In contrast a layout diagram will show the physical routes of the wiring or pipework. This type of diagram is used by the fitters who are fixing the hardware of the system, whereas the schematic will be evolved by the designers originally, to prove that all the connections required have been included. The layout diagram will be deduced from the schematic.
The 86 has a mechanical pump. There are no electrical connections.
There is a schematic on the fan shroud. If not go to a used car lot and find a like car and draw a schematic,
Check your local library for a repair manual.
The pulleys sometimes separate and need replacing. There should be a schematic on the fan shroud.
Hey JT==A schematic of the carb will come with a rebuild kit but I don't know of any other sorce. The fuel system schemnatic will be in a manual sometines available at parts stores. GoodluckJoe
it is a model which is schematic
what schematic heart
There are many schematic symbols.
