Where can you find the relay plate fuses on a 1999 jetta gls- need to replace f111 and f144 but cannot find it on my car?

It is not the fuse box inside the car on the side of the dash that houses 1-44. It also is not the one on top of the battery. There is a 3rd one. One diagram I found said it was where my existing air box is! WHERE IS IT???

you shouldn't need one. first off. you should have the manual that came with the car. in there will be a list of fuses and numbers and which slots they go in. second. under your steering wheel by the clutch and pedals is where your fuse box is. you have to unsrew the plastic plate covering it, but it's there. when you take the plate off it tells you what each fuse does and where they go.
