Circuit Board Medics can repair it with a 1 day turnaround and no reprogramming required (no trips to the dealer). You can literally remove it and reinstall it in your own driveway with no special tools. You do not have to have new keys issued or reprogrammed with their service.
P0601, pcm internal failure. replace pcm
change the pcm.
variable cost
You have to find the cause of the charging system malfunction. It could be the alternator, wiring, or PCM.
You will not fix a transmission issue this way. If you want to erase the PCM KAM data, disconnect the battery for 5 minutes. What that will do is erase all learned stradegies, revert the PCM back to original stradegies, and force the PCM to relearn everything, which it will have everything relearned in one drive cycle. This is not going to fix your problem though. You have either a transmission problem or a transmission control issue. The PCM learned stradegy is not the problem.
On the circuit board inside the PCM. You have to replace the entire PCM. You can buy rebuilt units. And quad drivers don't go out on their own. They usually get burned out by a bad fuel injector, etc. If you don't fix the root cause, you'll be replacing the PCM again.
How much it cost other fix a trans axle on plymouth voyager
deflate your tires two times in 15 minutes to reset pcm, then disconnect seat belt for 5 minutes and reinstall , this is the only fix unless you get a new pcm which is not logical
First you need to check and see if there are any codes thrown by the PCM,if there are start your diagnossis there.
I would assume it will cost anywhere from $100- $300 to fix your car brakes. Because they are an important part of your car it can be expensive to fix them .
the name of the circuit is engine control i believe. this circuit feeds power to the pcm ign + terminal and all the sensors that are pcm inputs as well as the trans sensors. what you do is first visually check wire harness look for any area that it may be chaffed or crushed causing a short to ground. then one sensor at a time using a circuit breaker in fuse cavity 20 amp or less unplug sensors. plug sensors back in as you go. if it doesnt go away the pcm may be suspect. unplug all connectors in pcm and see if it is gone. dont do pcm first because a bad sensor will be removed from circuit if pcm is unpluged. dont forget trans sensors prior to pcm as well.
Either the PCM, or ECM will have another code in it. Diagnose and repair that code and the companion dtc set code will go away.Either the PCM, or ECM will have another code in it. Diagnose and repair that code and the companion dtc set code will go away.
