I have a 2003 Altima that while traveling under 35 mph might shut down. Nissan says it is the crank shaft angle sensor thingy. Nissan will repair for $215.00 or your local mech. will do it for $191.00...KNOWN problem but no recall!
If you mean the TPM system in a 2007+ generation Nissan Altima, you have to over inflate the 4 tires to 35 psi and then drive a few blocks for the light to go out, then you can lower the psi to the recommended 28 psi all around. All four tires have to be at 35 or it will not reset.

I have a 2005 Nissan altima and it use to do that until I replaced the crankshaft and camshaft sensors, have not had that problem since. The crankshaft sensor is real easy to replace. The camshaft is a little more difficult but can be done, I would recommend you trying it yourself. The sensors I got from autozone and paid about $35 a piece and safe a lot in labor charges.
